Natchitoches' Dark Woods Haunted Attraction

Two Haunts – One Location!

Deep in Louisiana’s pine-hill forests lies Dark Woods, 17-acre outdoor adventure built on the bones of an ancient evil. Take a terrifying walk down the Dead Fall Trail and enter a world of mischief and mayhem created by the twisted family legacy of the Butcher Brothers. Trapped and tormented souls leer from the shadows, waiting to ensnare the unwary traveler.

NEWLY Refurbished for 2017!

Dark Woods' original outdoor haunt returns from a flood of muck and mud with an even longer trail filled with new thrills!

You've never seen Dark Woods like this! New sets, scenes and characters join the expanded trail this year in an immersive, themed experience with character actors, detailed costuming, realistic sets and Hollywood-style special effects.  Dark Carnival in 3D, brings a brand of terror to the Big Top with a 3D Blacklight Haunt. Enter Boogie’s nightmare and bring a little horror home with you.

Open Thursday, October 26th, Friday, October 27th, and Saturday, October 28th; and Tuesday October 31st.

Parking Lot opens at 6:00pm; Gates open at 6:30pm; Dark Carnival in 3D opens at 7:00pm; Dead Fall Trail opens at dark.  Thursday park closes at 10pm; Friday and Saturday park closes at 12 midnight.
